Thinking about your problems, responsibilities, and things that may go wrong is something we all do. Dwelling on these things to a point where you worry about them can steal your peace. God desires for us to live in peace. He never expected us to carry burdens on our own. He suggests that we trust him with these burdens. Communicate your worries to him and let him handle them. God’s peace is sure to follow. Letting go of these worries is not always easy, but it’s necessary to receive peace. God said he would help you, so let him do it. Worrying doesn’t change your circumstances, but it can steal your joy. Trust God with the things outside of your control and believe that he’s already working things out for you.
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
