Being obedient to God’s word shows that we trust him. It’s also an act of love. When we do the things God asks us to do, it allows us to be guided towards a better life. These instructions protect us from harm, help us to mature, and teach us how God wants us to live. Sometimes being obedient is hard because it can require us to alter our own plans. But every act of obedience brings us closer to God. The path God has for us leads to peace, blessings, and purpose. This obedience helps mold us into who God created us to be.
