Whatever job you find yourself doing, make sure to do your best. There’s nothing worse than coming upon someone who is providing a service to others and they behave like they would rather be somewhere else. I worked a job that I considered to be very stressful. I definitely wanted to be somewhere else and I wanted to quit, but one day I realized that I was one of a few positive people on that job. That positivity helped others to be able to get through their day and I understood why God had me there. I also remembered the importance of setting a good example. So I tried to do that to the best of my ability. It is important to “live a life worthy of the calling you have received” (YouVersion Bible App).
I encourage you to have a good work ethic whenever possible. You never know what effect your attitude may have on others and pleasing God is the key. Watch your blessings flow as a result of your efforts!
