Another benefit of reading it is to understand what is right and wrong in our lives from God’s perspective. God uses the words in the Bible to prepare and equip us to do good works. It instructs and encourages us. These are all benefits of reading the Bible.

“By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.” (Psalm 33:6)

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” (2 Timothy 3:16, 17)
