Everyone is given the opportunity to know who God is but not everyone recognizes His voice. We must believe that God exists and accept him into our lives to experience all the blessings God has for each of us. It’s important to have a relationship with Him. We are responsible for starting a dialog with him and continuing to keep that line of communication open by regularly talking to him. He has placed his laws in our hearts and minds and that’s why we know who God is. This also means that there is no need to tell people who God is because they already know. Instead, we are to encourage each other to have a relationship with God.
We recognize God’s voice by reading his word to better understand him. Also, by listening to the direction of the Holy Spirit. I encourage you to tap into what God has already placed inside your heart and allow yourself to be guided by his voice.
“For this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, know the Lord: For all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.” (Hebrews 8: 10-11)
