I had a job that was very stressful at times. My blood pressure started to become elevated and the medication that I was taking for my headaches started having a negative effect on my liver because I took it so often. My job was literally killing me.
People often tell themselves what they can’t do; not realizing that they are speaking negativity into their own lives. This keeps them from achieving their goals and holds them back. We have to be careful about the things we say about ourselves and others. We have to re-evaluate what we say. Could you have been self-sabotaging all this time? Could you have been ruining your plans with negative speech before they could even be put into action?
I truly believe that you are who you say and think you are. You can do what you say and think you can do. This applies to yourself as well as others. Saying negative things about your children, family members, or friends can have the same effect.
Knowing this, I strive to be positive; to think positive thoughts and say positive things about myself and others, which means to speak life and not death.
