Speak Words That Bring Life

It’s wise to be mindful of the things we say to others. People remember what you said long after the moment passes. A kind word can uplift a discouraged heart, while a careless statement can add weight to an already troubled mind. It’s best to pause before responding and ask God to help you choose your words with care. You may not know what a person is going through, but you can offer words that uplift and encourage. Allow your conversation to be a reflection of God’s love and use the opportunity to build people up.

“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” Ephesians 4:29
