Attempting to seem perfect is not what following Jesus is about. It has to do with allowing his love to influence the way we speak, serve, and respond to others. Our lives should cause people to be curious about the peace we display and the ability to give grace when it seems undeserved. People will remember that you showed patience when frustrated, offered grace when someone was wrong, and chose to be kind when being harsh was easier. People usually watch how we behave before they ask what we believe in.
