The enemy loves to distract us and try to discourage us. He’ll use doubt, fear, temptation, and insecurity in the form of intrusive thoughts. This is why spending time with God is so important. When we study God’s word, which is truth, the lies of the enemy are more obvious. Every day we choose what we allow to influence us. When we remain close to God through prayer, worship, and reading the Bible, it’s easier to reject the thoughts the enemy tries to use to distract us.
