Giving to others is a blessing to them as well as yourself. God honors those who give freely. Whether it’s giving money, other possessions, or your time. I’m thankful that I’m able to give and I believe that I honor God by giving some of what he has allowed me to have. In other words, being able to share my blessings from God with others is a blessing to me. Something as simple as smiling at someone as you walk past them in the store can lift their spirits and make their day. Being a blessing to others is easier than you think. It didn’t cost me anything to smile at somebody or be polite (like holding the door open for someone).
I am grateful that God allows me to be a blessing to others when I can. This includes giving of the gifts that God has bestowed upon me. You have gifts that, when shared, benefit those around you; so please share them😊. Yes that includes strangers as well as people who you don’t get along with. I know it’s hard but I believe in you, lol. Kindness goes a long way and it tends to have a positive effect on those who experience it (it’s contagious😊). Also, remember that whatever you do for others, do it as unto the Lord knowing that your reward comes from God (Colossians 3:23, 24). This helps me when dealing with people who don’t appreciate my efforts. It’s not about them; it’s about God.
