Sometimes we pray to God hoping he’ll just give us what we want. A real relationship with God doesn’t work that way. If we only want him to agree with our plans, we miss out on God’s guidance and truth. We also limit the blessings he has for us. We must have a heart that’s willing to hear what God is saying to us. God’s voice is clear but quiet. Let’s go to him with open ears, ready to receive what he’s saying. Strive to practice doing this instead of trying to control how he should answer you.
