Loving one another is a daily choice. To love each other the way God loves us is an unconditional love. None of us deserves the love God shows us, but he loves us no matter what we’ve done. This is the way we are to love each other. Love never gives up. This love is shown when we’re patient with someone who is difficult. It shows up when we’re kind when it would be easier to match the other person’s negative energy. Forgiveness instead of holding a grudge is another example of showing this love. This love goes beyond words or feelings. It listens, serves, and puts the needs of others before our own. This is how we reflect the love of God to the world.
“This is my commandment, that ye love one another as I have loved you.” John 15:12
